Acupuncture is a part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) used in Asia for thousands of years. It involves using thin needles, heat, or finger pressure to stimulate specific points on the body called "acupoints," which help improve overall health and well-being.

The main idea behind acupuncture is that our body's health relies on the flow of a special energy called Qi (pronounced "chee"). This energy travels through channels in our body, connecting all our organs and helping to regulate our body's processes. When Qi flow is blocked or disrupted, it can cause pain or sickness.

Acupuncture helps restore a healthy flow of Qi and balance in the body, which can relieve pain and other symptoms. Qi is like a life force that exists in everyone and plays a role in our overall well-being.

“I spent the first half of my medical career in the operating room as a surgical tech. I saw many patients going into surgery for cancer and other illnesses. After a few weeks or months after the surgeries, one common thread is that these illnesses often come back to haunt the patients.

I went into the medical field with a desire to help people recover from sickness and continue with a fulfilling life. Instead, I saw people suffer for many years.

There has to be an alternative way of dealing with sickness! – I asked myself. I was determined to explore other alternative treatments.”

“After a few months of pondering, One colleague pointed me in the direction of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

I was so determined to help people that I started my studies in the College of Integrative Medicine.

I started Point Zero Healing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2014. For the past 8 years, I have seen my patients experience healing from pain, diabetes, asthma, cancer, to name a few.

I’m a firm believer that to experience healing, you have to deal with the root cause, The Point Zero, who is YOU! To heal the body, you have to heal your mind and soul.

If we deal with the root cause in conjunction with Oriental Medicine, your pain will improve dramatically and even disappear.”

As more patients seek out alternative medical solutions for acute, chronic, and life-threatening illnesses, relief from complementary

cancer treatment, muscular-skeletal injuries, arthritis, depression, chronic pain, exhaustion, colds, and much more are finding results in Oriental Medicine.

Patients find solutions that can be implemented into their own lives and therapies enhancing their healing. Patients are also finding treatments that assist with the physical and mental recovery and practices that address the balance of mind, body, and spirit.
